Brian Cashman decided to pickup Jason Bulger (I rather have Ray Bulger from the Wizard Of Oz.) Brian loves the Scrap Heap Scrubs. This guy was cut by the Twins after getting racked around. If he wants to stock Scranton Wilkes-Barre with scrubs, so be it. I do hope Mr. Bulger won’t block prospects. It is more benficial to have young arms in Triple A. How about some young stud bats Brian? In addition, I would like Brian to pick up Popcorn, Hotdog, Soda, Beer and Cotten Candy Venders that have been cut by other teams.
The Yankees rotation has been set. I hope that the photo of Phil Hughes is what we will see this year. Hopefully Phil will be tipping his cap after some fine performances. Honestly, with the exception of a few performances, Phil has not done a whole lot. I know he won 18 games, but with a high E.R.A. His E.R.A. at the Stadium is close to five. He is the number three starter ahead of Ivan Nova. It’s early and that is not that big a deal. The picture I inserted shows Nova’s game face. That’s what I like about Nova most, he’s tough. His Spring has not been great. Pitchers do work on secondary pitches and experiment in Spring Training. The Yankees need Nova to improve on last year. The season starts Friday, first pitch just after 3pm. Let’s go Yanks!!!!!! EDB

I’m expecting big things from Nova. Well, lets say I am praying for it because I really think that he is the difference maker for us if the Yankees really want to make noise. I know he had a rough start in game 5 vs. Detroit, but I loved his composure and fight last year during the dog days when the Yanks really needed him to win the division.
Hughes always scares me, keeping my fingers crossed about what he will give us this year.
