The annual Baseball Winter Meetings™ are heading back to Nashville, Tennessee! This December 3-6, executives from all across professional baseball will congregate in Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. Nashville is an old friend to the baseball industry, as 2012 marks the fifth time they will play host to the Baseball Winter Meetings.

Almost 3,000 industry executives are expected to converge in Nashville for this annual event, celebrating its 111th anniversary this year. Over the course of four days, representatives from all 30 Major League Baseball organizations and more than 160 Minor League Baseball™ teams will be joined by various league offices, companies associated with baseball and guests from international baseball organizations to celebrate and honor all of their achievements of the past season.

The Baseball Winter Meetings allow owners and executives a setting to come together, review the successes and shortcomings of the 2012 season and plan for 2013. There will be a large number of meetings and functions scheduled throughout the week, most notably the Bob Freitas Business Seminar, where industry experts will have the opportunity to share and learn ideas from their peers. The PBEO^® Job Fair will provide the opportunity for organizations to fill their staff openings from a pool of more than 400 eager and qualified job seekers. The Baseball Trade Show™ will feature over 250 exhibitors, displaying a wide variety of products and services that teams can test, discuss and purchase on the spot.

Even though it is a time for business, there will still be plenty of time for fun! Executives from every level and aspect of the business of baseball will have the opportunity to catch up with old friends, relive old memories and create new ones. Social events include the Awards Luncheon, Opening Night at the Baseball Trade Show, Gala and Banquet.
