DENVER — The Rockies have signed former Marlins and Nationals right-hander Logan Kensing and former Brewers righty Mike McClendon to Minor League contracts with invitations to Major League Spring Training, according to information received by MLB.com.

Kensing, 30, is 8-9 with a 5.81 ERA in 134 games, including three starts, and has two saves in the Majors with the Marlins (2004-09) and Nationals (2009). He signed with the Rays before 2010 but missed the season because of shoulder issues. He spent 2011 in the Minors with the Yankees and last year in the Minors with the Pirates.

McClendon, who turns 28 on April 3, is 5-0 with a 3.88 ERA in 35 regular-season outings for the Brewers from 2010-12, including 0-0 with a 6.43 ERA in nine games last season. He went 4-3 with a 4.19 ERA last year in 33 Triple-A outings.
