CASHMAN FINALLY DOES IT

Genius Cashman has done it.  He has picked up Venezuelan Great Chico Puntez.  Chico is the all-time Home run leader and has a .390 lifetime batting average in  Venezuela.  He can play all nine positions, including pitch.  Chico is willing to do anything to help the beat-up Yankees.  Reached by phone, Chico, when asked about playing for the Yankees, replied “I love to hit de ball.”  EDB
