PROS & CONS FOR YANKEES GAME ONE LINEUP VS. INDIANS

Let’s take a look at the lineup below, that was shutout in game one today, 1-0.  Joe Girardi, does have to rest players.  However, he likes to bunch guys, that simply cannot hit.  Brett Gardner, Ichiro, Cano, and Hafner, are what they are.  Boesch, can’t hit.  It was worth a chance picking him up.  The Tigers however, knew something.  Boesch was sent down after game one.  Why is Chris Nelson batting sixth, let alone playing?  This guy can’t hit.  Watching him swing, one can see that he is overpowered.  The only use of power must be part of the word overpower.  He simply has noooo pop!  I am not impressed with Corbin Joseph, by watching him swing.  He was hitting .270 in triple a and once again, here lies the problem.  The Yankees have no prospects at triple A.  Thank Genius Cashman.  Stewart is doing the job.  Alberto Gonzalez is a stiff, who can’t hit at all.  EDB
