ANGELS MAKE FIRST TWO TRADES OF THE OFF SEASON

jerry Dipoto, GM of The Los Angeles Angels, knows his team’s need for pitching to compete in the 2015 Baseball Season.  Dipoto, because of the Angel’s lack of financial flexibility, knows the need to be creative.  In a few hours on Wednesday, Dipoto started to fill the hole by making two deals for a couple of cheap pitchers.  The Angels sent back up catcher Hank Conger to the Astros in exchange for Triple A pitcher Nick Tropeano and catching prospect Carlos Perez.  In a second trade, Dipoto shipped right handed pitcher Mark Suppington to Tampa for Left hander Cesar Ramos.  EDB
