With the exception of Chase Headley’s 2012 stats: 31 hrs 112 RBI’s .286 BA, Martin Prado is a more steady hitter.
Prado hits for a higher batting average, having hit .330 four times in complete seasons. Prado has hit in double figures seven times including last years split season between Colorado and The Yankees. Prado averages around sixty plus RBI’s. But the Yankees would not be looking to bat Headley in a prime spot, but rather in the back of the order, as they will probably do with Prado. The Yankees could spend their money best elsewhere.
