DAD GETS HELP FROM COPS TO GIVE DAUGHTER A VERY NICE SURPRISE

Audra Danilorf had a very rough 2013.  She spent more than sixty days in a hospital, recovering from a rare disease.  Audra’s Dad came up with a plan to cheer his daughter up.  Marc Danilorf, a business coach, enlisted police in Saukville Wisconsin to pull over 17 year old Audra to present her with two tickets for her favorite band.  Thanks to a camera worn by one of the officers, Marc got to see his daughter’s reaction.

Many got to see Audra’s reaction, as it was posted on You Tube.   When pulling her over the officer Bredin Depies  said…”I got some good news, and I got some bad news for you, OK?” police officer Brendin Depies announces to the teen on the video, filmed Nov. 21. “The bad news, first, is I am giving you two tickets, all right? The good news is, they’re probably not the tickets you expect me to give you, OK? One is a ticket to New York — an airplane ticket — and the other ticket is to [see] a band called Timeflies. I talked to your dad, and that’s from your dad.”

A really nice story!

GRUDEN…IN REX, THE JETS LET A GOOD ONE GET AWAY

untitled Jon Gruden, having signed a huge contract extension with ESPN, made it clear that he is “not at all interested” in The Jet’s Head Coaching position.  Greuden made it clear that in his opinion, The Jets let a Good One  Get Away!  Gruden said that Rex is a friend of his and he feels disappointed for Rex.  Mike Tirico, Gruden’s partner, believes that Rex is great for the media.

BRAVE’S COMEDY PLAN FOR B.J. UPTON

untitled

The Braves have insinuated that they won’t stand for any more inconsistent AB’s by good ole B.J.  The Braves are thinking over platooning Zoilo Almonte (ex-Yankee bust) and Todd Cunningham in Upton’s place.  A Brave mentioned that he would be up to the platoon and less likely to put a bullet through his television screen.  Why all the hoop-la, this is what B.J. is, an underachieving stiff!

I’d be up for that. Heck, Almonte’s career line of .211/.242/.282 in 149 plate appearances is only a tick below what Upton has done over his past two full seasons. And he has the added benefit of not being B.J. Upton, meaning that I’m way less likely to pull out a .38 and shoot my television when he comes on the screen. So really, it is an improvement.
