Jason Grilli, 38, mad The All Star team in 2031. Grilli’s 2014 season was not so good.   Grilli spent a large portion of the 2014 on the disabled list with a strained left oblique. Ater his return, Grilli’s E.R.A. was  4.87 with four home runs allowed in 22 appearances for Pittsburgh.

On June 20, Grilli was no longer the Pirate’s  closer’s role. On June 27, Grilli  was traded to the Angles in exchange for their struggling former closer, Ernesto Frieri. Grilli turned his season  around for The Angels enough to settle into a setup role ahead of new closer Huston Street. In 40 Angels appearances, he posted a 3.48 ERA with no home runs allowed. Now Grili has reportedly signed a deal with The Braves.  Financial considerations not disclosed.
