MICKEY, MIKE, DAVY PETER AND CHARLES…HEY HEY WE’RE THE MONKEES

untitled  untitled AND untitled  A funny thought, Charlie might have played organ for The Monkees, had he been chosen.  The reality is: Manson was in prison between 1961 and 1967.  Thus, he could not have been at the auditions for The Monkees held after September 8, 1965.  Mason would have been several years too old.  LA DJ Rodney Bingenheimer, who attended the auditions and served as Davy’s standin, claims that Manson was there.

untitled Manson could have played guitar also and imagine what great songs he might have contributed “Pleasant Ax Sunday,” “Last Train To The Big House” or “I’m A Lunatic, Believe it!”
