BRAVES TRADE GATTIS TO THE ASTROS FOR FREE PROSPECTS

The Braves have continued to clean house by agreeing to ship slugger Evan Gattis to The Houston Astros in exchange for three prospects.  It is reported that the prospects are:  Michael Foltynewicz, Rio Ruiz and Andrew Thurman.  Gattis hit .263 with 22 hrs for The Braves in 2014 and gives the Astros much needed power.  Gattis is a defensive liability and can rotate in The Astros lineup at first, the outfield and DH.  Gattis strikes out quite a bit.  Foltynecwicz, a right handed pitcger is 23.  He pitched in AAA Ball and went 7-7 with a 5.08 E.R.A.  Ruiz, a third baseman hit .293 in A Ball.  He is 20 years old.  Thurman whom is 23, is a right handed pitcher.  He pitched in A ball and did not have a good year.
