Here is what went wrong.  Nick Johnson had a great 1999 season.  At AA Norwich, Johnson hit .345 He stole 8 out of 14 bases.  Johnson was number 5 on Baseball America’s top 100 list.  But Johnson’s propensity to become injured, did him in.  He sprained his wrist in Spring Training, taking a swing.  Johnson sat out the entire season.  Nick made it back to MLB rosters, but found ways to always get injured.  A list of Johnson’s injuries, follows below:
