David Robertson has a reply to critics who think The White Sox overpaid him, “I’ll have to show that I am worth it.”
Robertson has the confidence and was a huge success in replacing Mariano Rivera for The Yankees in 2014. Robertson was 39 and 5 in save opportunities. If the Yankees and cheapskate Hal would he reached into their pockets, Robertson would have remained a Yankee. Robertson believes that The White Sox have a better chance of winning now than the Yankees and that is not a stretch.
