The Yankees are not in the market for major relievers.  They signed lefties Andrew Miller and traded for Justin Wilson.  There is an additional lefty who could help their pen and that is Jacob Lindgren.  Lingren was a junior in college, just one year ago.  Lindgren finished the 2014 season at AA Trenton, where he impressed.  Lingren only has one year of experience, so it may take him some time to develop.  Lindgren in 24 2/3 innings, struck out 48 batters.  The 5’11” Lindgren will turn 22 in March.  He seems to be on the right track.

“It’s his press conference,” a source said. “We have nothing to do with it, but we don’t want it to get in the way of other guys.”
